A Wing-Eating Contest, Herbal Tea Tasting and More Food Events Happening This Week

Tuesday: At Atelier TD @ 1 OR 8 Brooklyn, get schooled on Korean herbal teas with Tea Dealers Inc. Apparently one of them “tastes like a perfectly made pumpkin pie,” so you shouldn’t miss it.

Wednesday: Head over to Brooklyn FoodWorks to learn all about what goes on a nutrition facts label from nutrition analyst and best-selling author Mindy Hermann, MBA, RDN.

Thursday: Archestratus in Greenpoint is hosting their Blue Plate Special, “an evening of Sicilian, family-style food inspired by Nonna.”

Friday: Pick up a Brooklyn Bazaar MealPass for a deal on food, games and even karaoke at the three-story Greenpoint venue.

Saturday: Artists and Fleas is hosting some super-snacky food start-ups so that you can go to your Super Bowl party.

Sunday: At Humbodt & Jackson, they’re going all out for the Super Bowl with a halftime wing-eating contest. It sounds like an amazing deal: “$20 entry fee includes all you can eat wings and guarantees you a seat.”

Monday: Head into Manhattan for a vegan takeover at Romagna of Bleecker Street.

Coming Soon: Our annual Good Spirits event is going national this year, and you can already secure your tickets for the epic New York tasting event—it goes down March 2 at Pier A. You can also pick up early bird tickets for Brooklyn Uncorked and Food Loves Tech, or plan to hit them all by picking up an Edible Season Pass!
